Summer Hydrosol Distillation Workshops
Hydrosols are fragrant botanical waters that contain essential oils, acids, and phytochemicals that are extracted from the fresh plant material utilizing a traditional copper alembic still. Hydrosols help soothe and tone the skin without disturbing the precious pH of the skin while offering gentle aromatherapy. Participants will get to gather and prepare an aromatic herb, assist in the distillation with a copper alembic still, learn about the history, significance, and benefits of hydrosols and take a bottle of our finished product home with them.

Medicine Making Intensive
The People's Gold Garden, Conway, MA
Join me in The People’s Gold herb garden for this medicine making intensive. For one long weekend, you will learn the ins and outs of making potent handcrafted herbal medicine and go home with a little apothecary of herbal essentials! We will cover topics such as the honorable harvest, energetics and flavors, art of formulation, and solubility. We will focus on a different topic and herbal preparation such as tinctures, oxymels, hydrosols, teas, and salves. We are surrounded by medicine and anyone can turn the abundance into amazing herbal remedies for themselves and their community.
